Evelista’s Updates

“I have good news for you all! My leg that didn’t seem normal is healed and I am back to school!” With a heart full of gratitude, Evelista says thank you so much for your support, prayers, and your Get Well messages that have given her a bright future! Evelista came to our CURE Malawi hospital to be checked by our doctors and she is “good to go!” What an awesome testimony to see her come to CURE Malawi in May 2017 and is now completely healed!

Evelista stopped back to have her measurements so the CURE Malawi physical therapists can make a custom shoe insert for her which will help her stand. Evelista also got scheduled for a small pin removal procedure next week where, as you might’ve guessed from the name, the doctors will remove the pin they put in her leg to hold everything in place. It has done it’s job so it is time to take it out!

Evelista stopped by today to have her cast checked. That means she also had her X-rays done and everything looks great! Evelista will be back again in May for another cast review. Please continue to pray for her!
