About the Hospital
The Tebow CURE Hospital provides pediatric orthopedic surgical care in Davao City in the Philippines, helping children with treatable conditions like clubfoot and spinal deformities. The official grand opening took place on May 1, 2015.
Construction of CURE Philippines began on the island of Mindanao in February 2012. Executive Director Leron Lehman arrived in 2013 to oversee the completion of the building and the hiring of the remaining personnel. The hospital began treating patients in December 2014.
The Tebow CURE Hospital, built and operated by CURE International, is also one of the primary outreach initiatives of theTim Tebow Foundation. one of the major sources of funding for the project. “I was born in the Philippines, and my parents have been missionaries to that area for over 30 years. The Philippines have always had a special place in my heart,” Tebow said. “I’m excited to be a part of this hospital that will bring physical and spiritual healing to thousands of children who would not otherwise have access to care.”
