Clubfoot Surgery

Evance's Feet Are Healed! When Evance's family learned about CURE Malawi, they brought him there for treatment. Clubfoot is a congenital condition where one or both feet curve inward.

Children affected by clubfoot have difficulty walking and face significant stigmatization that can prevent access to education and employment, pushing their family further into poverty.

Clubfoot is the most common disability treated at CURE hospitals and can be corrected through surgery.

Brain Surgery

No More Pain for Isaac! Isaac was quickly diagnosed with a brain abscess. CURE surgeons performed the surgery that saved his life.

CURE Uganda treats a variety of neurological conditions, including hydrocephalus, spina bifida, brain tumors, and more.

These conditions can be fatal, but when children receive surgery in time, they can be saved.

life changing surgeries

We envision a world where children living with life-limiting disabilities like clubfoot, cleft lip/palate, knock knees, bowed legs, and hydrocephalus can heal from their conditions and reach their full potential. Without treatment, these children are more vulnerable and left suffering on the fringes of society.

In addition to world-class surgical care, CURE ministers to the emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their communities. At CURE hospitals, our staff is trained to reflect kingdom values in their work and to seek opportunities to share God's love in word and deed. We serve children regardless of gender, ethnicity or religion.

CURE International Canada is transforming pediatric healthcare in Malawi and Uganda through significant investments. In Malawi, a $4 million CAD project at the Beit-CURE Children’s Hospital is expanding surgical facilities with three state-of-the-art operating rooms, additional ward beds, and a hostel for long-stay patients, doubling the hospital's capacity to treat children with disabilities. In Uganda, a $1 million CAD investment established the country’s largest pediatric ICU at CURE Children’s Hospital, equipped with advanced medical technology to provide critical care for children with complex neurological conditions. These initiatives are improving access to life-changing care for vulnerable children in both countries.
